THE KARATE KID CAMPAIGN

Background: To showcase an upcoming release, KARATE KID (featuring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith), and position PIX as a vibrant youth brand through the same.

Solution: The creative expressions captured the essence of “action” in media like Bus and Elevator.

Result: The overall promotional campaign got PIX ranked as No.1 English movie channel that week.

Karnataka Tourism by Stark Communications

What if all the animals in the world came together to protest against us humans? What if they formed a group and demanded that we listen to them? Wild Parties was launched on World Environment Day, as an attempt to spread the word about Conservation, Wildlife protection and Responsibility. Targeted at the youth glued to Social Media in specific and Internet in general (which explains the slightly misleading name), Wild Parties were a group of Wild animals facing the threat of extinction due to human action.

www.wildparties.com wanted people to know real issues and act, or – at the least – be aware. Through Facebook, the Group registered over a hundred members in just 2 weeks, with close to 20,000 hits for the website pages. Posters were then designed to get more people to join Wild Parties and talk about it to others.

Initiated by Karnataka Tourism as a platform for awareness and change, Wild Parties brought to light the many issues faced by endangered species that inhabit our planet. Since they don’t have a voice, we thought we should lend them ours.
