Amrit Pal Singh : Graphic Designer

Why are you a Graphic/Brand Designer?
Since I used Microsoft Paint and created cartoons for the school magazine, I have been sure about pursuing graphic design. I absolutely love the field of design and I sincerely believe I have the best job in the world.
Did you attend school for fine art or design?
Oh yes, I was trained by the fine Jedi Masters at Vancouver Film School. I enrolled in Digital Design Program because I loved each and every class they had to offer.

You have a distinct style of Design. How long did it take you to develop your style?
A distinct style comes from taste and constantly working on projects you really want to work on. It has been in the making ever since I entered the field so around 8 years.

Graffiti Collaborative : Agency Profile

Graffiti Collaborative is a 4.5 years young creative agency. Its expertise lies in identifying the problem of a business and finding a creative solution. It believes that the solution usually lies in identifying the problem. Most people identify symptoms but it’s another skill to be able to differentiate them from the actual problem. That is the USP of this agency.

Although it started out as a digital agency, it soon realised that problems cannot be solved through a single medium alone. Once a creative strategy has been thought through, one needs to choose the right channels of communication based on several criteria. Today, Graffiti develops 360 degree creative communication strategies for its clients and delivers on digital, design, films, events, tech and everything creative. It strictly sticks to its expertise of strategies and tactics and doesn’t venture into the more ‘lucrative’ media buying space. The company will continue to evolve in the coming years keeping up with the times. The best is yet to come.
How was Graffiti Collaborative born (and when)?
This is a little complicated story and quite honestly, is being told to a larger public for the first time. It started out as a digital agency in a small shared room – sitting knee to knee for a few months. Once we realised we had more to offer to the communication industry, we packed off to a beautiful space which became our home for the next few years. As we learned more, we observed how this industry functioned – and we found it rather competitive. We figured that the quality of work is higher when collaborating rather than competing – and that’s how from Graffiti Media, we became Graffiti Collaborative. With that small but very significant change in our mindset, we have now become an agency which strives to change many standards in this industry. Our tagline – served with love – is a testament to it! We hope to bring out love in this industry. Love for what we do, love for people working with us and love towards nature and all things around us.

Neeraj Joshi : Founder & CEO, TailorWear

One thing which strikes the most when one meets Neeraj is the passion he exudes, be it for his business or his love for fitness and travel.
He has a very impressive educational & professional background which he feels was the consequence of just going with the flow than a well thought out strategy. However he wants to now make maximum use of his pedigree by putting it all in his new venture TailorWear where he wants to revolutionize tailoring service using technology and talent.

Tell us about TailorWear
TailorWear addresses a very unique problem of its customers in the space of their dressing needs.
Assembly line manufactured clothes are made on perfectly shaped patterns which just don’t fit an average male body. They also do not offer any scope of customization or individual expression.
On the other hand, tailors, while available for a dime-a-dozen in India, the workmanship of this set is pretty inconsistent & unreliable.
Of course, one has to make multiple rounds of markets, first to buy fabric from one place, then look for tailor & then for trials & pickup.
TailorWear takes away all these inconveniences of the customers in one go. Its team, which has a cumulative experience of around 100 years, visits the customers’ place, be it home, hotel or office. They carry fabric swatches which are from the latest collections of mostly Italian mills & leading brands. The same masters then cut and stitch the garments thereby ensuring the complete integrity of an authentic bespoke concept. The masters then carry the final garment to the customer & ensure that they fit well. So, the customers don’t need to step out at all. Through this process, a highly complex service is delivered at customers’ doorstep & at a very honest price.
We also cater to international clients through our Made to Measure service. This provides us with a deep insight of the latest global trends & quality standards as followed in those markets which we apply in the domestic market.

Elite Turkish Coffee digital initiative

Elite Turkish coffee is one of the country’s oldest and most loved coffee brands, but with a target audience slowly growing older and youngsters opting for preppy-er beverages (like Espressos, Lattes and tall Americanos) it was imperative the brand start communicating with this audience.

So we looked at the younger Elite Turkish Coffee consumers and found a common trait between them: they’re the good guys.

The guys you can count on to help you no matter what.

They’re the guys that’ll help you move out of your old apartment and schlep your stuff to the new one.

That’ll come rescue you at 2 AM when you get stuck on the freeway.

The ones that’ll throw you the most amazing bachelor party ever.

And the ones that’ll make sure that if your wedding proposal went south twice – it won’t happen a third time!
