#SpreadingKindness ~ A corporate campaign conceptualised by ADK Fortune for Mankind Pharma

Mankind Pharma is one of India’s leading Pharma & Wellness companies, racing towards a target of 1Bn US$. Mankind had always believed in providing quality medicines at an affordable price in order to benefit a larger section of society.

Amitabh Bacchan was the spokesperson who communicated to the world, Mankind’s credo through a multimedia campaign last year. To extend the idea, Mankind has just released another campaign #SpreadingKindness, that best encapsulates the company’s philosophy and mission. The campaign has been conceptualized and executed by ADK Fortune, a WPP group company. It has been produced by Jamura films and directed by Tathagata Singa

There is sleep, and then there is great sleep. Like the kind only a very comfortable Sleepwell mattress can give. So when you are in the middle of this peaceful slumber, the last thing you want is for something to wake you up. Especially an alarm clock ringing away on your bedside. You then are forced to save your precious sleep in any way necessary. Which, in this ad’s case, is turning the loud alarm clock into a quiet work of art.

Pokemon Gone : Student Work from Miami Ad School

Advert title: Pokémon Gone
Campaign name: Pokémon Gone
Agency: Miami Ad School, New York, USA
Brand: Respect for Animals
Copywriter: Emily Kaufman

Short Description:

Within the last year Pokémon Go has been downloaded 500 million times. On average, Pokémon Go users spent more time within the app than any other social platform. In an age when people spend so much time looking at a fake world, how do we highlight the problems in the real one?

On National Anti-Fur Day, we partnered with Pokémon Go to create an update to the game with one major catch: the Pokémon underwent the torments of the fur industry, leaving them skinless, just like the millions of animals killed yearly for their furs.

Because if this bothers you in a fake world, why shouldn’t it bother you in the real one?

Leo Burnett Israel Proudly Presents: “var Time”

Everybody who’s watching this year’s FIFA World Cup is talking about just one thing: the “VAR” or for those of you who are not football fans: the “Video Assistant Referee”. The system is the ultimate tool to help on-field referees make the right call on any given shot, using video replay technology – and so doing stop them from making a howler that could cost a side the game.

But it’s also the new universal icon for a TV screen!

So to drive fans to Azrieli’s new ecommerce website, we used the season’s hottest icon to steal the show. During the final, set to take place on Sunday July 15th, where France will attempt to take home the World Cup for the second time in history, every time the referee will signal for the VAR, we’ll give the first 5 viewers who text us a free large screen TV.

So what can we say? Keep your fingers crossed and your mobiles ready.

Sanam Thadaney : Graphic Design

Why are you a Graphic Designer?
My journey of becoming a designer started when I was little I used to sit for hours and hours sketching cartoons. I had not taken up any drawing/sketching courses or classes to polish up my skills. Since a young age, I used to exhibit design-centred, artistic behaviour. These actions, and my natural instinct to find creativity all around, led me to believe I was going to be an artist.

Being creative is such a large part of who I am and have always been, whether I’m involved in a personal project, making gifts for friends or family, volunteering my skills for a non-profit organization, or drumming up ideas for some clients.

Did you attend school for fine art or design?
I attended the Symbiosis Institute of Design, one of the country’s most premier education societies, for design courses. My specialization was Graphic Designing.

Enolaton by Yuweus, Kolkata

Client: Enolaton
Agency: YUWEUS, Kolkata, India
Creative Ideators: Sanjeev Dassani, Aanton Mookherjee
Copy: Sanjeev Dassani, Abhishu Rakshit

Some ads (or pieces of communication) become special not because of the artwork, big idea or the metal they earn, but because of the circumstances they were created in and the cause they were created for. This little effort was one such.

ENOLATON is a budding ‘new age’ music group, ‘band’ as they prefer calling themselves, with some of the best talents in Kolkata collaborating to create an exciting genre of music. And the best part is that they are experimenting with sound, lyrics and compositions, instead of trying to ‘follow’ an existing formula.

We (at YUWEUS) thought of giving ENOLATON this piece of communication to add to their spirit of experimentation. They agreed to the idea, and that’s what makes them even special!

On #WorldMusicDay, we urge all the advertising professionals who love their music to help a new music group grow. Let’s take up the #IAdMusicToMyPortfolio Challenge and support the cause of music.

Maybe this won’t do justice to our number targets, but it will do a world of good for music.
