Women are judged all over the world for their looks, be it the colour of their skin, their features or body type. These print ads are made to break such stereotypes. To show the world that each woman is beautiful in her own way. That real beauty lives within. That it’s important to love yourself and embrace your flaws, for all of it together is what sets you apart.

Why are you a Graphic Designer?
Since I was a child, I’ve loved making things. For me, graphic design is a medium which helps me practice creativity while putting food on my plate.

Did you attend school for fine art or design?
Yes, I graduated from the Srishti School of Arts, Design & Technology in 2013.

You have a distinct style of Design. How long did it take you to develop your style?
I wasn’t too conscious about developing a style. I always knew that I’ve been inclined towards things that are simple and easy to understand and I think my designs reflect the same.

How did you focus so much on graphic illustrations? When did you realise you loved doing it and wanted more of it?
As a child, I loved art & craft. I always participated in drawing competitions in school, and my parents were always very supportive of it. I didn’t really know about graphic design was till I got into design school. I knew that being an animator was a career option because of the Disney & Pixar movies we used to see.

Mayor : Spec Work By Miami Ad School

Touristification of a locale may seem beneficial but locals may not always agree with this idea. Apart from the obvious economic upside, it brings a lot more issues in the city like crowds, pollution, an increase in rates of commodities, etc. All this leads to friction between tourists and locals. To ease this friction, Niantic developed ‘Mayor’. It is an application that caters to both locals and tourists. The locals recommend their favorite spots and activities to tourists. Tourists can vote for these recommendations. Each month the local with the most votes gets to be the virtual mayor of the city. Being the mayor brings a lot of perks such as discounts, free parking, and the like. With Mayor, locals get a new way to enjoy the touristification of their city.

IAA by Madison BMB, Mumbai

The world didn’t need a virus, but it badly deserved a detox. This fly-on-the-wall perspective of how the world has changed (for the better), thanks to this deadly pandemic, is a long copy print ad done for the International Advertising Association. This was released as a front page, full page ad on the Free Press Journal on 25th April, 2020 and was warmly received on social media. Retweeted by none other than Dave Trott.

Self Promotional by Yellow, Mumbai

Our designs speak about the importance of physical distancing in helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Rather than just telling people how it’s done, we wanted to display the intensity and seriousness of the situation with the help of this creative series that puts forth everyday instances. We’ve been told to stay in for ourselves and for our families but yet such appeals fail to get the recognition it needs. These creatives simply state that the virus is EVERYWHERE and to save yourself as well as others, the best destination for you is home.
