Born in small village of Maharashtra – Kochara (Sindhudurg) in 1988.
His father wanted him to pursue agricultural studies following his family tradition but he had other plans, aimed with a dream to study art where no one had even heard or dreamt, he came to Pune guided by his sister to study in Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya and did his foundation.
This is where he heard of Sir. J.J. Institute of Applied art, the land of artists in Mumbai.
He got in with merit, during the third year after winning a inter college competition – Vignettes for the brand Taj Holidays amongst all colleges. He was awarded a internship with Ogilvy. Which opened a whole new world of advertising for him. After which he did ATC Photography part time course for 1 year which led to him to becoming the finalist – CAG Filmmaker of the year, in the final year of graduation. After completing graduation he set out to work with TBWA\ India. Followed by Ogilvy & Mather, Mumbai .
He has worked for clients like Nissan, Raymond, Standard chartered, Datsun, IDFC, Lenovo smartphone & laptop, IPL Mumbai indians, TATA Sumo, TATA Safari, Nutrela, Dulcoflex, Kirloskar, Onida, Brooke bond, Reliance, Star, Vodafone, BJP, LYF Smartphone, Ongo.
Why are you into Advertising?
Since childhood , I had this urge to prove to people that art has a career and my passion for it will take me places. It was precisely in third year of jj when I won Vignettes ( A inter college competition) where I got an internship at ogilvy. I realised, this is where I have to come back,
the glamour, the creative pressure, the blossoming of ideas and pitches
of victory everything felt like a dream.
