Elite’s Cow Chocolate by BBR Saatchi & Saatchi

News headlines in Israel tend to be somewhat negative.

Focusing on the bad news that happens here and at other times showcasing the rude, boisterous and sometimes shameful misbehaviour of Israelis.

That’s why, in an effort to spread goodness and celebrate a brand that makes life in Israel that much sweeter,

the country’s leading chocolate brand – Elite Cow Chocolate – created a video stop-motion campaign starring plasticine figures celebrating Israelis who do good.

The figure’s faces were inspired by the chocolate bar’s unique shape with its larger cube in the middle.

2 Men And A Beer : Documentary Series for Haywards 5000 by Happy Creative

The best discoveries are happy accidents. When Benjamin Hayward, the great-grandson of Sir Anthony Hayward, after whom the brand is named, wrote to SABMiller India requesting an internship, little did he know what he would uncover.

SABMiller India announced the release of a five-part documentary series that traces the history and legacy of the Haywards brand.  The video series titled ‘Two Men and a Beer’ follows Ben across India, tracing the origins and heritage of the brand founded by his grandfather. Ben, a resident of Birmingham in England, chanced upon a BBC report on Haywards 5000. After a little enquiry, he began his internship which took him across the country to retrace the brand’s steps and uncover some of its past.

The MediaHolic Co : Digital Solutions for Brands

Well, we started in our heads long before we actually did. We are based out of Mumbai, the crazy city that makes everyone believe their dreams can come true.
Ours did when we actually did get our office.
We are a digital solutions company.
We don’t think we are a marketing agency; we do what great marketers can’t execute. We actually channelize their brand ideas and bring them to life and thus we give solutions. So we are a marketing partner essentially than an agency.

What made you start The Mediaholic Co.?
One afternoon of June 2015, we were having a candid talk over lunch. We all wanted to build something that we could call our own. We spend 70% of our day on social media, then why not use it effectively? That is when the thought of starting a digital marketing and web designing unit struck us.

Tell us about your designers/animators. Did they go into fine art or design schools? Or software? How do you pick them up?
We strongly believe that there is a creator in everyone, just a different kind. All our designers have not been to art schools. Their ability to think out of the box and aesthetic understanding makes them a valuable part of our team.

What made you start NetBramha Studios?
The need of design in India. I believe design has the power to transform anything, anything at all!

Tell us about your designers/programmers. Did they go into fine art or design schools? How do you pick them up?
Our studio houses 25+ designers apart from the contract designers. Most of them have completed their graduation in design or picked up design from practice.
As long as designers can tell the difference between art and design we are happy to have a conversation with them for open positions. We hire for passion and excellence in craft. Rest really does not matter much.

Mandar Wairkar : Creative Group Head

Mandar Wairkar a hard-core Mumbai ka Chokra, currently based in Kuala Lumpur as a Creative Group Head at J Walter Thompson, Malaysia. A student of JJ Institute of Applied Arts, life was great back home in Mumbai watching Bollywood movies, dancing to Dhol tasha tunes every year at Lalbagh and relishing bhurji-pav post mid night while still enjoying his advertising stint at Ogilvy. Life took an interesting turn when he decided to go for a backpacking trip to Southeast Asia and was offered his first international break in Singapore, which he still finds it hard to believe. It’s been 5 years since then and he is enjoying every bit of this roller coaster ride.

Why are you into Advertising?
My father is a renowned Illustrator and Cartoonist, who worked in the advertising industry for more than two decades. All I heard as a kid was his advertising stories, discussions with his fellow art directors and writers whenever I was home. Unknowingly it played a huge influence on me and it was fairly an easy decision I took. So unlike many who bumped into this business, I always wanted to be in it.

Did you attend school for fine art or design or Communications?
Yes. I did my bachelors of Fine Arts at Sir. J J Institute of Applied Arts, Mumbai

Experiments with Fonts : Deepti Kshirsagar

“Default fonts/ or standard fonts are those which are part of most software’s font library, and which never feature on designers list of favorite fonts. Fonts like Arial Narrow, Baskerville, Times New Roman are either overused or some never used due to is overtly classical form. This thought was unsettling me for a while and, I just decided to study some of these with a fresh perspective. When I started experimenting with the forms, the counters, the ascenders, the stem and the results were some stunning Typographical Visuals.  While my experiments were in Black and White, I believe right colors take typography to next level.”
Sharing some of the Typographical Designs

by Deepti Kshirsagar : Partner and Executive Director – WOW Design.

Arial Narrow : Beautiful counterspaces.

BrushScript : The Flowy curves

Avenir Light : The lightness in the stems

Baskerville : The classic solid serifs

Cooper Black : Love the Os of Cooper

Ameet Mehta : Designer, Entrepreneur

Ameet Mehta is a thinker, dreamer, designer and an entrepreneur. Ameet believes in doing things passionately or not doing it at all. Though a fashion and lifestyle accessories designer by qualification, his credo has been that design is all about infusing a strong emotional connect with audience, using form, function and common sense.

Why are you into Advertising/Brand Building?
Because I believe in communication and its power. As human beings, we perpetually want to reach out to others, connecting with them, through vivid emotions, actions and expressions… I love the fact that brands can be made to do the same and much more than that, and that one can actually design something that has the power to evoke a desired emotion!”

Did you attend school for fine art or design or Communications?
Yes, I studied at NIFT, New Delhi, specializing into fashion and lifestyle accessories design.

First Ever Drone Beach Report : BBR Saatchi & Saatchi

In a country where skin cancer incidence is among the highest in the world and UV radiation one of the strongest, Super-Pharm as Israel’s largest pharmacy retailer and a major player in sun awareness education wanted to encourage people to go to the beach during ‘Sun Safe Hours’

The problem is that to get the best spot on the beach you’ve got to get there early,
when the sun is most dangerous. So how do you help people protect themselves
and still get the perfect spot?

Well we decided to create and broadcast the 1st ever Live Drone Beach Report.
A real-time aerial view of Israel’s busiest beaches aired 30 minutes before ‘Sun Safe Hours’.
This meant beach goers could scan the beaches and find the one that still had the perfect spot!
A win win situation for all involved J
