The DesiCreative design a t-shirt and win a trip to Goa AdFest Contest
The big idea is to fly to goa for free!
Given the theme “desicreative”, all you have to do is submit your idea for a t-shirt. It can be a complicated layout, or a one-line scribble. What matters is the idea behind it. Submit your jpeg file here and you (and your art/copy partner) can win a trip to Goa AdFest 2009 (April 2-4, 2009), where you could see everybody wearing the winning t-shirt!
Entries will be judged by DesiCreative.
The not so fine print: The contest is open till March 25th. You can send as many entries as you like! This is just a fun contest so some creative folk can attend Goa AdFest! We fly the winning team (two people at the most) from anywhere in India to Goa (in a no-frills airlines, in these times of recession, we will be looking for the cheapest air fares), put them at a respectable place in Goa (please don’t expect a 5 Star stay, meals/drinks not included) during AdFest (April 2-4, 2009), and cover their AdFest registration! All other expenses (travel insurance, meals, personal expenses, laundry, taxi fare etc) are upto the winners to take care of. All submitted entries become property of DesiCreative. If you need to clarify something, please ask.
Entries will be judged by DesiCreative, whose decision will be final and binding. DesiCreative may decide if there is no winner, if the entries are not exciting enough!
(You will have to create a user account, in case you don’t have one already, to be able to post your ideas)
so only people from india can apply for the contest? What about any neighboring countries?
people from neighboring countries may apply, but we only pay for travel from within India to Goa by a no-frills airlines. The winner, if not from India, will have to take care of all other expenses (like coming to India), Visas etc.

hi! if I come from outside India, a neighboring country, like Singapore, would I still be able to fly free? If you are paying for air fare within India, and if Singapore-Goa airfare is the similar, would you still cover it?
Or, can I get a subsidy to the amount of India fare? I would really love to enter and perhaps attend AdFest Goa!
Rosita, that’s a good question. Maybe the DesiCreative guys should pay for the difference in flight from Singapore to India. But look at the brighter side, they will cover your hotel.

can’t u read? the text starts with “Given the theme ‘desicreative'”. that is the brief isn’t it? or do u want it in a 3-page convoluted printout?
to answer Rosita Tan’s question, in case the winner of this contest is flying from OUTSIDE India to GOA, then we can subsidise their fare by the same amount as the New Delhi-Goa fare.
to elucidate: if the winner is flying from Singapore-Goa which costs lets say USD 100, and New Delhi-Goa costs USD 40, the winner can collect USD 40 from us, and will have to pay only USD 60 towards her flight cost. We will not be able to bear taxi etc costs….
hopefully next year we will be able to… 🙂
So if we give u 50 ideas and none of them win, can you still use them on your T-shirts for free??!!! Without us getting any credit or cash for that matter???

you will need to login into desicreative.com/forum to be able to view the attachments. creating a login is really simple and requires filling in your username, password and a working email id.
if i am a sole designer and win, can i get my friend along?

Hi Admin, it wll be good to see what other people are designing. What if there are no direct flights from Orrisa to Goa? Would you pay for the train?
Or if I take the train, will you pay the plane ticket? Or if i win, can i keep the money and not go?
