The Book of Stranger

Twenty years is a long time in studio years and so we thought we’d celebrate the year with something a little less frivolous than our typical offering. The Book of Stranger features a few hundred of the four and a half thousand jobs we’ve done in that time and the cover, inspired a little by Hieronymous Bosch features all of them. We were looking for appropriate packaging and the human skin covered books of the Bosch era seemed appropriate. Just kidding, it’s not human. It is skin though.

In this case an amateur guitar player ended in a National TV Talk Show after answering a poster looking for a guitar player.

Benfica is the greatest football team in Portugal. When its legendary player Eusébio died, the club wanted to pay him an outstanding tribute.So Y&R Lisbon decided to get Eusebio playing for Benfica one last time. In the match following his funeral, all the 11 players wore the same name on the back of their jerseys. The Eleven Eusebios match ended up having worldwide media coverage.
