This Guinness spec was made by Miami Ad School students Tadhg Ennis and Brendan Irving. While both working as bartenders to pay for their tuitions, they came up with the idea to make a branded content piece that talks about the correlation between the bartender and a pint of Guinness.
Just like Guinness, the bartender is more than meets the eye. They are a group of philosophers, comedians, artists, and rogues. A distinct group that is complex on many levels. We take time growing into our skin, but once we do we are full of character and unapologetically authentic.

The Perfect Guinness Ad for the Perfect St. Patrick’s Day

To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Miami Ad School students from the New York campus Tadhg Ennis and Brendan Irving have released a brand-new Guinness spec. While both working as bartenders to pay their tuition, they came up with the idea to make a branded content piece that celebrates the correlation between the bartender and a pint of Guinness.
The two teamed up with producer and fellow Irishman Brian O’ Carroll (Blue Caprice) and director Nicholas Gray (The Paper Store) to fully realize the one-minute spot.
Just like Guinness, the bartender is more than meets the eye. He—or she— belongs to a tribe of philosophers, comedians, artists, and rogues. A distinct group that is complex on many levels—also like Guinness. They may take time growing into their skin, but once they do, they’re full of character and unapologetically authentic… much like a certain dry stout.

Ask any parent, and they’ll tell you parenting is a very challenging task, especially when babies are involved. No matter who you are, whether you’re a Mommy or Daddy, whether you have any experience or not. It’s going be tough.
So why is it, that in a country like Israel where over 42% of families are defined as “alternative” when we watch commercials, the families portrayed in them are consistently monochromatic, traditional, heterosexual families? Shouldn’t our ads be a reflection of the wonderful diversity that is out there? Are the love, family life and issues a gay couple faces any less valid than that of a traditional couple? Super-Pharm and its private label brand “Life Baby” didn’t think so.
That’s why when “Life Baby” launched their new campaign, they decided they wanted every type of family in Israel to feel included. To do so, they asked one simple question, “What’s the hardest thing about being a parent?”
The commercial we created is a first in the Israeli media as it portrays how non-conventional families all ultimately deal with the same challenges. A gutsy move for any marketer, this is especially remarkable for a marketer as big as Super-Pharm in a country like Israel, where religious concerns, taboos and traditional views still reign strong and supreme and where consumer protest are not unknown to happen .

News headlines in Israel tend to be somewhat negative.
Focusing on the bad news that happens here and at other times showcasing the rude, boisterous and sometimes shameful misbehaviour of Israelis.
That’s why, in an effort to spread goodness and celebrate a brand that makes life in Israel that much sweeter,
the country’s leading chocolate brand – Elite Cow Chocolate – created a video stop-motion campaign starring plasticine figures celebrating Israelis who do good.
The figure’s faces were inspired by the chocolate bar’s unique shape with its larger cube in the middle.
