SETHFORWARD WITH SIR MARTIN SORRELL

Post by swapanseth »

Unarguably, the most powerful man in the world of advertising and marketing, Sir Martin Sorrell needs no further introduction. In an interview conducted at 1am, London time, Martin was at his best.

Opportunity.

3. Who, in your estimation, was brighter? Charles or Maurice?

Charles was intuitively brilliant, Maurice academically.

4. Your feelings when you bought out David Ogilvy. Sweeter than buying out JWT?

Equal.

5. Your greatest acquisition ever?

My wife.

6. The one person you could never do without?

My Dad.

7. If you suddenly wanted to kick it all up, who would you appoint to run WPP?

Not my decision.

8. Your weakness?

Cricket

9. Who inspires you?

My Dad

10. How do you relax?

I don’t.

11. Your biggest achievement, yet?

3 sons, 6 grandchildren

12. Are you religious?

3 days a year

Agreeing to this interview

Super! Thank you, Martin

awesome! I have always loved Sir Martin Sorrell. He is the Richard Branson of advertising. Not totally. But somewhat.

hahaha! wish Sir Sorrell would write more of our briefs!! The ones we get (if at all) should be called 'novels' not briefs!
