'CPDM Illustrated' Newsletter

Post by antzfx »

A couple of months ago, I grabbed the opportunity to design a newsletter to showcase the creative work of Master in Design (M.Des.) students of my class -- CPDM, IISc Bangalore.

Design thoughts of this work are shared here:

Download a High Quality Version of 'CPDM Illustrated' from here (PDF, 11.3MB).

How can I improve? Waiting eagerly for your comments...

good work antzfx. should I embed this in scribd so people can quickly look at it without having to download? I like the last page (back cover) more than the front. I also lke the way you have integrated the honey comb kind of grid throughtout. nice.

@Saumya:
Scribd is French to me. So please do the needful so that I can proudly add this to my biodata -- "Well-versed in Scribd; uploaded an 11MB file successfully!"

The photograph on the back cover is that of my friend Urvesh Bharambe trying to drive a cycle rickshaw in Ahmedabad. He was doing a summer internship to develop a tricycle.
I would like to say that Mr. Anoop (Visualizer, Rediffusion Y&R, Bangalore) is the person who taught me to handle InDesign better.

@Anjana Kamat: Thank you...

thanks for posting the doc, saumya. else we would have to download the file, open it and then comment.

nice work antzfx. as mentioned by people here I liked the last cover page. i like dyoru choice of pictures but I would insist on a better font for the headlines (Pixel By Pixel etc). Try to improve the text handling.
