This Art Director today would be the best Creative in the country, but who gets the bonus? His CD. 4 One shows and 2 D&ADs. But the CD gets to travel to to the CD meets and thump his chest.
How do the mid level creatives feel about this?

WHy should the CD benefit when the art director wins
Awards winnings art director do not get any benefit, even the CD goes for picking up the award. So if I am the CD of an agency and i hiring nly best Art Directors then I sit home and become the most famous CD. WHY Guys?

Rediffusion’s work for Midland Bookshop bagged a bronze at the One Show this year as well as a D&AD silver nomination. An elated KS ‘Chax’ Chakravarthy, Rediff’s national creative director, exclaims, “When I was asked which were the strong Indian contenders at Cannes this year, I had replied that I was confident about our work for Midland Bookshop and Leo Burnett’s work for Maneland Jungle Lodge. Those predictions are already being proved right.”
The campaign for Midland Bookshop was based on a simple brief: to get book lovers to take time out and step into the shop and reiterate the thought that despite the advent of other entertaining media, reading books is still fun and insightful. The campaign consisted of three books, ‘Lord of the Rings’, ‘The Communist Manifesto’ and ‘20,000 Leagues under the Sea’, planted at various urban locations such as restaurants and coffee shops.

I am reading all the news and interviews with 'CHAX' NCD Y&R, your boss and nowhere your name is mentioned. This is a shame. What he doesn't realise is tomorow u will move to a better agency and rediff will be back to square one...no awards.

Yes, this is sad. And rest assured he would surely go to another agency. This is also the case with RMG David. Thanks to Jiten Thukral and a few, Josy Paul made it to the top, now these guys are not there anymore which is RMG had such a dismal performance.
This is why I like Piyush Pandey, everyone knows that Pushpy won the gold. That's what an NCD should be like, push his people and not just himself.
