Nice

I like this. The idea is very simple.
Please think of an alternate line though.

P.S.: Akash, if you didn't get this, so did all the guys next to me who were laughing their guts out after seeing your monster ad. I mean dude, that is one extremely poorly written ad. I like your aggression, but your tone smacks of insolence. I suggest you take a good hard look at your own work before picking up stones. Criticism is fine, but only if it is constructive.

good work. i like the art, but perhaps the copy needs some work (especially 'One of them consumes electricity' it somehow doesnt fall in line with 'One of them breathes' etc). almost there types.

are you an art or a copy guy?

@ vikram: I'm copy. But I take a lot of interest in art as well. Discussing ads (from the art point) with the art guys, doing sketches and stuff....
Nice to know you liked the art. Did it myself.

@ shanty: Will work on the line. I'd kept all lines in simple present tense thinking it would do the job.
And congrats on your breast cancer ad brother - awesome stuff - seen it on some other ad sites as well.

@ those who didn't get it - Thought was: one is the direct pic of a dog. Another is a pic of the print-out of the image of the dog. The print-out being from Absolute, ofcourse.

Cheers.

Dear GHF, thanks for your kind words on the Cancer Ad. I don't think you neeed to necessarily change the lines, but if something better works out, keep at it. I still think the line on my cancer ad can be bettered and am working on it, even if it is released.

getting lost somewhere

I get the print of a print thing and all - nice. But then, its still print right? Maybe this ad is for the ad community and not the common man?
Whadya say?

@ tumunathan: Yes, it's for the ad community. Because we're the ones who use regularly use printers!

And I'd also thought about both being print. But then, don't all lines about a pic talk about the subject?

Think about it this way: One is a dog. One is not. Hence, one of the subjects breathes. The line never said anything about there being two dogs. Just that one of the subjects breathes.

Let me know what you think.
Cheers.
