Very nice thread. We should have started this one much before. Understanding of consumer behaviour patterns.

I do the same thing as Saumya said. Now consumers are spoilt for choice. As time passes, and the range of products keep increasing, the internet will become the battle ground for many products. YouTube with its unboxing and reviews is another essential channel. It gives you a visual and audio demonstration. The only channel that will always be pertinent is word of mouth.

Depends on what you are buying.

Veggies, offline.
Consumables like paper, cartridges etc online.
Shoes and clothes, offline.

I pay by credit cards.

I make my decision, honestly, after consulting friends and reading online reviews.

I too make the decision aftrer reading reviews online. Does anyone know of a printed magazine which influences your purchase decisions?

For me, I'd say HP. Amazing minimalist design sense. The clients are perceptive though arrogant.

I buy Books, shoes, Mobile, Electronic gadgets within 20K from Online (If i get a good deal)
Rest: Clothes offline, furniture offline.

But majority i check Online, Read online then think about it. Mostly i prefer Amazon.com only.
