Limca ad

Post by kyarajesh »

in a review of Limca's latest commercial 'pyas badhao' some planner said limca had moved on from 'thirst' to 'cool' zone. and with this commercial it has gone back to past...... How does it matter to the audience. they just want to see a good ad. i really liked the pyas badhao ad with kareena.

According to me changes are very necessary everywhere.. People like changes.. This is why it does matter .. I like the shift in communication of brand overall from" Taazgi to Thirst" but i didnt like this ad personally ... I loved that old limca ad and I loved its song as well...

i like the ad and moreover the presence of kareena with the ad and regarding change i think it was required as
limca didn't catch up in the market and even the demand is also less.
Nice ad!!!!

For me, "Fun times, Limca times, thirsty times, Limca times" of yore, still rocks!

Limca has created some wonderful commercials. but in my opinion, this one will connect with the masses; it will touch some emotional chord.

no. because of the concept 'pyas badhao'. its very indian and will stick out for them. It's a phrase which will be repeated and used to motivate people to perform. Similar words are used irrespective of the ad. touches a chord. While the jingles in earlier ad were very pleasant and hummable, but they were just that nice songs.

I disagree. The commercial doesnt have the depth to become a motivator.

commercials hardly motivate but it touches a chord. It does with me. i am one from the masses and not the city bred elite.
