Here is another ad waste of 6 crores.

A boy goes to a shop and demands Eveready batteries for his toy car.
As he fixes them, the toy car gets transformed into a giant sized car.
As the owner of the shop comments, “kuch toh hai bhai extra”, the......VO plays, “Eveready mein hai EMD ki shakti. Kuch hai extra.”
Cut to the shot of a girl asking for Eveready batteries for her toy elephant. The ad comes......to an end on the owner taking one look at his shop before giving her the batteries.

The shopkeeper is Amitabh Bacchan.

so very true...
at times it's difficult to recall what the product was... AB has done ads for everything from digestives to some tractor co.

Everytime you see him in an ad, it's a game called "guess the product" before the ad ends..

Everyready with it's GIVE ME RED campaign was much better known then with Amitabh. Back then there was a differentiator and now this ad for be for Complan "YEH HAI BARTA BACCHA".
