hi bose,

levis is bit too expensive in india where you can buy better established indian brands for less.

Also strangely Levis is still not considered a cult brand...

BBH has a great image in India. It is rated very hot and specially because of John Hegarty.

Levi's In india is quite a desired brand though due to being overpriced few youth are seen wearing it. its mostly the 'arrived' executives who do and I have seen the youth wearing more funky and less expensive styuff, mostly with girls. most indian girls donty find their fits in Levi's (i mean teenage ones), since they have a more slender and petit fit reqquirements, from my personal experience. Levi's has to try harder.

Lee did, with its new campaign frocussing on 'FIT' with the campaign thought 'at least the jeans fit' (a geworgeous babe with a hopeless jopker kind of stuff). i myself have moved to wearing Lee. all the best for Levi's. If only JWT spent as much time studying the market as creating scam ads for awards Levi's too would be doing better in India...
