kikikikikiki : my daily ramblings

Post by kikikikikiki »

taking this topic from ek kanya, i think it's cool to maintain my little rambling notebook on desicreative too. as and when of course. and if i feel like. like now. after eating an unbelievable quantity of daal, rice and matar, since there's no bed, there's desicreative. yawn. where are we going with this life? what do we leave behind? children? blogs? money? credit? poems? i think i'll go back to searching for animated emoticons now. i think doing meaningless things suits me better. bye.

haven't had time yet to think or do anything yet this morning except surf a bit. so here are a few sites i just found:

need to convert a file (image, movie) quickly and the office computer nerd is on leave? check this site out
http://media-convert.com/

a perfectly adorable site a guy updates daily (i think) about his arguments with his girlfriend (and don't miss the animation of the top left picture. just roll your mouse over the pic):

i would never want to convert a freehand file to a corel draw file. and if someone wants to, i wouldn't want to help him either!! i hate corel draw. i love freehand. so many things i love and so many things i hate. maybe i'll make a list some day and put it up here. been a sleepy day today. rendering some unending things on apple motion and cinema 4d. will anyone give me a super powerful mac so renders take seconds? or lots of money so i can buy one? tried to sleep. but bed is too hot. dog in bed is hotter. at the same time i hate ACs. i think i'll go have a lassi. sweet lassi. always sweet lassi. meanwhile here's something for u to do. try and duplicate a square 100 times equidistant from each other in 5 seconds in corel draw.

sunday. bathed the dogs (three of them) today. snuggling up with them will be great today. they'll be nice smelling and silky soft. did some net research on how to tune a djembe. downloaded an alarm clock for my mac. changed bed and sofa covers. made an ugly lotus on cinema 4d. started a render. now waiting for the baby to kick (now it kicks about twice a day).

a sad young man
by kikikikikiki

a sad young man
in a shack on a beach
was a noddin' all wise an' smokin'

while the world outside
was lit with tube bulbs
an' everybody was laughin' an' jokin'

the sad young man
looked up at the stars
and sighed like a sail all torn

when a cur walked up
out from the dark
into the shack all worn

the sad young man
with nothin' better to do
struck up with her a talk

the mangy bitch
replied best as she could
with whimper, wag and bark

the sad young man
and the mangy dog
told each other tales

of pink chopperknockles
of clouds, of skies
and why the sea's full of whales

the sad young man
now heavy with sleep
and realising he was talking to a dog

soon turned on his side
closed his eyes
and was soon sleeping like a log

the mangy cur
looked at him
and with a final bark

slunk away
for the day
out into the dark

was thinking of the huge prices of medicines/treatment, and at the same time the colossal waste of medicine. remember earlier how we could get three tablets if we wanted, but now have to buy the whole strip? so much waste! we invariably end up throwing the other seven soon. isn't there some way we could utilise these so people who need them could get them free?

there's no space for the poor pigeons any more in the city. one poor couple (of pigeons) nested in one of our plant pots (after uprooting the plant!) and laid an egg. right there out in the open. with maybe two twigs to cover it. by evening the egg was crow food. very very very sad. those buying houses in mumbai, make a little space for the birds in your balconey?

sad, kikikikikiki. In fact you can make a birdhouse for the pigeons with your carpentry skills! I am sure you will find lots of takers for your birdhouses!
