TVC script for an electric water pump

[wannabe]

The TVC starts with the shot of the interiors of a lower middle- class home. We see a middle-aged

housewife struggling to fill her bucket using a hand pump outside her house.

Her husband shouts.

Pushpa jaldi paani lana

Varna main aaj bhi daftar deri se pahochunga

Abhi laayi

As she is about to enter the house, she loses the grip of the bucket’s handle spilling all the water on the

floor.

The husband disappointedly tells her to leave it, gets ready and leaves for the office.

When he returns home in the evening, he immediately steps out of the house and locks the door from

outside. The wife thinking he is still upset because of the morning incident tries to talk to him. The

husband still doesn’t open the door.

After a while, he opens the door.

Frustrated, the wife loses hope, gets angry and starts murmuring.

Din raat mazdooron ki tarah kaam karo

Fir chaahe haath me chhaale pad jaaye ya kamar tedhi ho jaaye,

Kisi ko koi fikar nahi

Ek ek boond paani ke liye kitna paseena bahaana padta hai

Thik hai. Aaj galti ho gayi

Kal se aapko aapke nahaane ka paani vakt par mil jaayega

To which her husband replies

Bilkul. Mil jaana chahiye


Hearing her husband’s insensitive remark her eyes fill up with water. The next second her son says:

mummy, papa ne naya motor pump lagwaya hai. Ab aapko hand pump se paani nahi bharna padega.

The wife looks at her husband with a surprised expression, to which he replies with the same stern face.

This time in a teasing tone:

Ab to Angel water pump bhi lagwa diya hai

To tum kyu aasoovon se baaltiya bhar rahi ho

She playfully starts hitting him and they all they start laughing together.

The scene fades and the logo appears.

Paani se khusiyaan hai

Isliye Angel Water Pumps

Taaki khushiyaan humesha behti rahe
