Ogilvy & Mather India won a silver and two bronze the 2006 One Show. This is the best performance ever by an Indian agency at The One Show.
Ogilvy Mumbai won a Silver Pencil for The Indian Association for Promotion of Adoption & Child Welfare (IAPA) - "Adoption". Ogilvy & Mather New Delhi two Bronze Pencils for C Roy - "Private Detectives" and "ORBO" - Organs.

With 3 awards they can be the best ever performing, wow! I am sure there are lot of desi agencies capable of breaking that record.
Then again I did not think that the adopt a child was worth a medal if at all a nomination.
Aerial work is much better.

That's right Dips. One of the entry was for a visiting card for a private detective. Come on even the juries should know that it is scam. Ogilvy Frankfurt is also into scams but atleast they make it legit with clients like DHL, SAP etc...
Did you see out of 39 shortlists in One Show by Indian agencies atleast 35 were for PSA or detective agencies and flower shops...only JWT india had Levis work.

Scam work is ok as long it is a legit PSA. But detective agency, gimme a break.

We give a damn,
when the work is an outright scam.
Cancer patient work was eligible,
As it was PSA that is for real.
Detective agency,
That's the stuff for a trainee.

Whatever said and done, Ogilvy India is no longer a one man show. What happened to Pushpi? He just vanished after a gold at Cannes?

you're right diptanshu. what little integrity this profession had is fast disappearing. motives are becoming more selfish and perspectives are getting warped. and what's more unfortunate is that the solid guys are rapidly being replaced by scamsters with little or no ethics.
having said that, lemme go finish that poster for Ghanshyam Electricians, Estd 1982
