Sorry Gopa...but these don't quite float my boat. Seen something very similar done around 7 years ago.

Again, without any previous baggage, the Laurel and Hardy one works (although the reference is too obvious). The Phantom one works only for Phantom fans (how many people seriously know about Princess Diana and the golden sands of Keela Wee) and even fewer might know how Dr Watson looks like since he is more famous for the phonetically famous dialogue.

"Elementary, my dear Gopa?"

i think it connects if its a series that comes one aftr the other. like maybe mickey mouse and minney mouse, followed by Tarzan and JAne, followed by Laurel and Hardy, then Phantom and Diana would be easy to relate to etc. but great thought. Only I am wondering of copyright issues!!!

great stuff guys! keep them coming. Are you guys from the mid-east too? it seems the mideast is doing great in terms of creativity!

I like the idea. Very good. Tho the choice of characters could be discussed. Yes like Beeves and Butt Head of MTV...perhaps BORAT and his partner???

I did not get that phantom character.
