Puma Launches New Vinyl Project

Puma Loves Vinyl is a new project that will see the pressing of an Indian indie compilation album on a special 12″ LP. The project brings together seven top Indian artists who have written new songs for the compilation – Gaurav Raina (of Midival Punditz), Karsh Kale, Ankur & The Ghalat Family, Tough On Tobacco, The Supersonics, Reggae Rajahs and Dualist Inquiry.
The project will kick off on Saturday, June 23 with a special (free!) gig at Stage 1, Mehboob Studio, Mumbai that will see performances by Ankur & The Ghalat Family, Tough On Tobacco, The Supersonics, Reggae Rajahs and Dualist Inquiry, and a special vinyl set by rayG. The project will also see special vinyl listening sessions and acoustic sets in Puma stores in the coming few months.
Puma is also inviting entries from interested creative types to design the cover art for the LP (details). Over the next few weeks we’ll be showcasing some incredible vinyl collections of some of our favourite vinyl collectors and talking to them about their love for the format.
