I thought it would take more time for India to go from the first condom ad controversy to "when will poonam pandey strip... Quick change!

cross culturalization plays important role...it works with how people take the advertisement and will it be acceptable to their national audiences...!!!

Aah, the good old days of hard-smoking, hard-drinking, non-mobilephone, non-twitter, non-online, non-emasculated advertising, which sold sex with cigarettes and shoes and condoms and everything in between and when pythons became skin and skin became another word for condoms and all we indians wanted was to see heaving bodies in the Grind on MTV and cable television came home for the first time and we all sat up late to watch those R-rated movies on Star Movies and when Debonair still had beautiful nudes and when advertising 'sexed' it up and people were less prudish and more daring despite what we think India today is and when Anil Dharker, Khushwant Singh and Kiran Nagarkar wrote of sex with such chutzpah. Miss those wonderful days of growing up and growing up learning about passion...guess I am old now and advertising/tv is more boring!

true :)

and too much censorship now. too much moral policing. I miss the good old days at a smoke filled pub after a long day at work. Now you cant smoke in a pub.
