Help: N00b

I am a second year MBA student at symbiosis. I am interested in joining the advertising sector on the creative side. I have not written much throughout my career. But somehow I have the feeling that I can closely relate myself with brands and comfortable in designing as well as content writing for their TVCs and print ads.
Please guide me about it.
PS: I am an introvert, introspecting and passive by nature. I like to work alone and getting fat pay packages is not the aim of my life.

Thanx Saumya. One small inquiry. Is it important to have the knowledge of the software like adobe photoshop to become a copywriter. Since, I don't have any knowledge about them, hence do you recommend any formal course for it.

It helps if you know Photoshop -- but not mandatory. I had a friend who downloads images from internet and nicely conjures up a composition to explain his idea -- believe it or not -- in MS PowerPoint!
