Ability to edit posts

Hi...
Its just few days that I have joined DesiCreative I am enjoying it...
There is just this one thing... You know we all make mistakes.. specially TYPO mistakes... it would be nice if you could allow the user to edit his post... maybe for a limited time only.....

hi prateek. as I had mentioned to another similar request, I have disabled ablity to edit one's posts only because people would change their argument after a long thread, making the whole thread useless

yup you have a point.
but there is a solution for it... why don't allow edits only till 3 minutes are posting.. so that mistakes in spell, grammar , etc... can be edited...

for that we have 'preview post', or better still you can always make a reply to your post AFTER you have posted it with an errata
we have had people post an ad, get negative feedback, and edit their original post. not fair, right?
