i beg to differ. yes they may have similar visual metaphors, well no because the metaphors are always in context and hence a word like king can be a noun, an adjective and an adverb. thing to ponder about right? so hence a similar visual can mean diff things, i.e balloons, bottles suspended and the others.

visual metaphors are not words. they are interpretations. And 'visuals' in Cinema are personal touches and someone copying them is always a copy. Have you seen kites (the crappy film with Hrithink Roshan)? Remember the shootout sequence, which is copied from millions of hollywodd films? Men in trenchcoats shoot dead some other men while all hold umbrellas and it rains? thats copying. Thats plagiarism.

if a thought needs to be representated, a new metaphor is the responsibility of teh film maker and the agency creatives.

what if airtel also uses a Kutta for 'our network follows you' kind of thought? one has to think harder. much much harder.
