This is crazy as it is easier for me to buy a car in oslo then the same car in delhi with desi salary.

one has to see how they arrive at such figures, since the cost of property and rent in delhi is perhaps more than that in Sydney. petrol is more expensive in india than many countries. AND food is cheaper in delhi. so whats the parameter?

this is not true, mumbai should be the most expensive...imagine the cost of renting...

Personally i think London should be at the top .. the minute i walk out of my front door it's costing me, lut mar!!!!!!!!

But denesh, London also has better pay scale compared to other expensive cities like Mumbai. I thinking the cost of living index to income ratio is most skewed in India
