Library > Words > Dictionary Ga·nesh (gə-nāsh') also Ga·ne·sha (-nā'shə)
n. Hinduism.

The god of wisdom and the remover of obstacles, son of Shiva and Parvati, depicted as a short fat man with an elephant's head.

[Hindi Gaṇeś, from Sanskrit Gaṇeśaḥ, from gaṇeśaḥ, master of throngs : gaṇaḥ, throng, group of followers + īśaḥ, master (from īṣṭe, īś-, he rules over).]

Hi people..

few days back like joke posted same ad with another diet product.I just put this ad to show how ad people think alike. thats it. But if u guys think..ganeshji is not fat..then this ad is really silly and kiddish.

anyway i still think and believe ganeshji is fat and fond of drinking milk ( Few years back people flooded streets with milk to feed Lord Ganesha )

hey .....as far as the advt goes ...way too bad ....

also another thing ....a few months ago i read somewhere a world renowned artist ..M.F Hussein had people lodging complaints, protesting , etc because he depicted hindu gods in a different manner than wht they should have been depicted as. .......and therefore disrespecting the religion.

i'd say this is disrespecting the deity too .......!...all the more if its going to be used for commercial gains.

cheers

Hanuman ?
