Hi guys! Im a fresh grad and I've a team for advertising. My partner is into copy-writing and Im into art direction. I realised that all advertising job openings need related Industrial experience inorder to apply. My question would be ' How and Where does fresh grads begin when they're not given an opportunity in the 1st place to gain experience from?' We have tried emailing, phonecalls and even went to the doorsteps but invain. There's no return replies from CDs/recruiting personel to allow us to set a proper appointment for interviews and portfolio presentation regardless the outcome...Wrong approach?

We fought hard to persue advertising and are sincere in our beliefs.
If you guys got any openings, we sincerely hope that we young bloods will be given an opportunity..

Hi, it can be difficult even for experienced guys to get thru to big CDs, so no worries mate this is how every business works.

My advice, have an online portfolio and email the link to every CD in town. I am sure at least one will respond and meet you guys. And once you get to meet the first person you can ask him/him for more contacts. During my formative years I would email 40-50 people and 3-4 would mail back to meet. It works.

Where you guys from? There are quite a few CDs here, who could refer you to someone.
