with the new Cigarette warning legislation in place, the poor packs look horrid! they used to look so cool. i remember there was a time when cigarette and perfumes/colognes had some f the best packaging. loved the way the flip top packs are engineered. the new warnign thing looks horrid!
its the death of the cigarette pack design

i love packaging. i want to do packaging. nowadays people think packaging designing is not cool. sigh. the only thing people think is cool is making films (tv commercials). sigh.

Urine on walls is a common phenomena causing trouble for municipal corporations in maintaining hygiene in almost all the towns and cities across the world. Addressing the issue, Mexican designer Miguel Melgarejo has come up with a public urinal concept dubbed “Axixa” (urine in Nahuatl) that will help in maintaining the cleanliness in the streets. Featuring the shape that a leak leaves on a wall, the public ceramic urinal generates a permanent mark in public streets or places where people can urinate and participate in a manifestation in which the disposal itself becomes part of the public life.

Sentinel: the slab serif that works.
For everyone who’s ever wished Clarendons had italics, everyone whose favorite slab serif is shy a few weights, and everyone who’s ever needed a slab serif to thrive in text: we designed Sentinel for you.
