Cannes Fringe site diversifies with snappy new projects
The www.cannesfringe.com has been live for nearly a month now establishing some bold new fringe projects for the impending 2007 Cannes Lions Advertising Festival.
The Cannes Fringe (www.cannesfringe.com) is a behind-the-scenes video blog, complete with mobile video downloads, examining the Cannes Lions advertising festival's fringe elements, with a particular focus on all things digital.
Cannes Fringe has linked up with Isobar (www.isobar.net) to strengthen its digital credentials. Cannes Fringe say, "Joining forces with this digital powerhouse will increase Cannes Fringe’s access to the most important people in digital advertising."
The site has teamed up with Orchard Photographers (www.orchardrepresents.com) for 'laid-back' photography contest. The competition will involve festival-goers taking snaps of ongoing frivolities and sending them, via Bluetooth, to the Cannes Fringe beach bar laptop where they will be instantly uploaded and looped on a live TV screen.
