Validate Email Addresses?

I have a list of email addresses. How can I validate if the people are still using them or the mail boxes still exist?
Advertising is 90% Gadhagiri 10% Pfaff

Still searching. Will let you know. There are plenty of them but haven't tested more than one. Will report on the one I am testing right now.
