kyarajesh, this is how u have to make your above post so that u can embed youtube videos on desicreative.
first go to your youtube video page and copy the text circled in red:

after that you paste that text here, in the reply window, and select it, and then click on the tab that says youtube (again circled in red).

and submit. and voila!

UPDATED YOUTUBE INSTRUCTIONS

Suppose your URL for YouTube Video is:

Code: Select all

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMn55yQNaP8

Now delete everything else from the URL but "fMn55yQNaP8" which is the portion AFTER "v="

Select: fMn55yQNaP8

Now click on 'youtube' button on the top right.

There uyou are.

Today we have finally updated the Youtube embed to support HTML5 Video and a responsive design.

Tutorial : Supposed you take this YouTube URL:

Code: Select all

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEf7MoQYgzE

Select the portion after v= and delete everything before it.

While this selection is live, click on the YouTube button in the text box above.
And your video is embedded!
