Faberge Case Study by Fallon
Challenge
The Big Egg Hunt came to Fallon with a brilliant creative idea: hiding over 200 eggs around London for 6 weeks to raise money. What they needed from us was strategic direction, a mobile and digital mechanic for the hunt and an overall look and feel for the campaign.
Solution
We were inspired by the fact that the hunt was taking place across 12 iconic zones across London and wanted to create something tangible, which matched the lovely physicality of the eggs themselves. We created 12 illustrated maps, each one a designated hunt zone, offering clues to hunters about the locations of the eggs.
Results
Raised over £1million for the two charities
Engaged directly with over 1 million people who saw and visited the eggs, and 12,000 who donated directly to the charities via text
Over 7,000 Facebook supporters, and 3,500 followers on Twitter
216,000 unique visitors to the website in six weeks.
Achieved a phenomenal 15% awareness with the general public across the UK (NFP Synergy)
34% increase in visitors to the charity’s website, at launch (Action for Children).
Set two Guinness World Records titles:
One for the Most entrants into an egg hunt competition and the World’s most expensive chocolate egg
