On Friday 16 November 2012, 35 talented designers from all over the world will be gathering in New York City for Cut&Paste’s Global Championship 2012.
The 2D/3D competition—held at Angel Orensanz Foundation at 7PM—will feature 12 teams demonstrating every step of their design process.
Attendees can witness the playful experiments live, which would be projected onto screens.
The competition—accompanied by booze and beats—would also allow audience members to submit their concepts and ideas for the competing teams to use.
At the event, three designers would be crowned 2012’s Cut&Paste Champions and, along with audience contributors, be awarded HP prizes.
Cut&Paste Global Championship 2012 will be judged by Joshua Davis, Jeremyville, Mimi O Chun of General Assembly, and Jodi Terwilliger of HUSH.
Tickets can be purchased from Eventbrite with prices starting from US$10, and all ticket sales proceeds would be donated—50% to Lower Eastside Girls Club design studio and 50% to Food Bank for NYC in support of Hurrican Sandy relief.
