Vedanta hands over media duties to Lodestar UM

Lodestar UM has bagged the media mandate for Vedanta, a global diversified natural resources company. Ogilvy & Mather has been handling the creative duties for the company. The company had called for a pitch process involving some of the major media agencies of the country.
The development was confirmed by Vedanta Group’s Rajasekhar. Though the company spokesperson declined to share any details about their forthcoming campaigns or advertising budgets, it is understood that the business will be of a significant size.

I think Vedanta needs a PR firm more than an advertising agency. With all the evils mining is getting into, you need someone to rinse you of your evils...
Truth Hurts. But bad advertising hurts even more.
