I am really happy that you got the award.

Just an observation... the award reads something like.. For Loving Disigned dated....
what does that mean?

Ha! That is the fun part.
When I got this, I was also thinking: what is this 'loving disigned' anyway? After the function, the CyberPark CEO met me and after some small talk, he told me that there is a serious typo in the memento. He gave instructions over the phone to print "logo designer" and it came as "loving disigned." Since everything was in the last minute, he didn't get the time to correct it. I jokingly told him not to worry as I can fix it in Photoshop!
Another example of last minute arrangements from their side: I got the invitation on Saturday evening informing about this function scheduled for Monday -- I had to travel a highly convoluted path of Bangalore-> Kochi -> Kozhikode and arrived 30 minutes late into this function.
I hope that one day Government agencies will function as efficient as their private-run counterparts.

i dont know of the efficiency of the private bits, but am prett impressed with some of teh governemt things. Institutes for example. The government has made/had made, some of teh most useful educational institutes this country can ever have. Even today there is no match for an IIM, IIT, NID, FTII, NIFT, ISI etc. These institutes have produced some of the the biggest thought leaders of our time. No private institute could do that.

The E. Sridharan run Delhi Metro Project is a stunning example. Also if you study this gentleman's feats in the making of the Konkan Railways, one of the world's most difficult stretches for railways, you will know what I Mean.

See the television programs on Doordarshan. Nukkad, Buniyaad, Malgudi Days, Fauji etc. Not even ONE program in the private run channels can come close in terms of quality.

What the private sector DOES bring is more marketing hype and money for the monied class.
