the truth is (and it hurts) there is hardly any idea in these ads.
its just an excellent vibrant illustration.

thick soups? soup so think it will break the kitchen floor, will cause asphyxiation if swallowed, will require a butcher's knife to get a OneXTwo?

the positioning could have been "other soups will asphyxiate you, break your floor and will require a chainsaw to cut, but ours is nice"

or 'we make thick soups. thick soups are nice' and not show so much negativity with the brand.

now that it's won so much, everyone wants to own the creative. but the truth is, and it hurts, that this is bad advertising. great art.

but we are not in the business of art. we are in the business of advertising.
